To determine if your PC can hear all the sounds, you must test different types of sounds.
First click on this file if this song plays properly you should hear a song. If this song does not play, open up your speaker volume in lower right hand corner of your screen and make sure that the mute button is not checked underneath MIDI and that the sound is halfway between OFF and LOUD.
Second click on this file, this is a wave file. If you don't hear Clint Eastwood, open up your speaker volume in lower right and corner of your screen and make sure that the mute button is not checked underneath WAV and that the sound is halfway between OFF and LOUD.
